The Côte de Nuits appellation is a communal appellation of Burgundy. It extends over several villages: Corgoloin, Fixin, Brochon, Premeaux Prissey and Comblanchien. It is in the latter that the Côte de Nuits Villages “les Faulques” of Domaine Jean-Marc Millot are located. This is a plot of 1 ha 78 in the heights of Comblanchien just in front of the famous quarries. “Les Faulques” means beech trees once planted in place of the current vines.
The Côte de Nuits "les Faulques" expresses all the complexity of its limestone soil. The dominance is therefore largely mineral giving wines of great freshness. The aromatic return is fruity and crunchy. It is an energetic wine with a good aging potential. Reflecting the terroir, the dress is ruby red.
